Radius launches Best-in-Class Radius Financials Purchasing Module

The Radius Financials Purchasing Module delivers comprehensive purchasing functionality with sophisticated, ready to use e-procurement facilities incorporated as standard.

24 March 2003, Feltham. Radius today announces the launch of the Radius Financials Purchasing Module. This adds to the portfolio of modules already available in this Best-in-Class Financial Management Information System.

The Radius Financials Purchasing Module has been developed from RadiusOrbit, our successful e-procurement solution, which already has a user base of over 10 public sector organisations. The new module retains all the tried and tested features that have proved so successful to date with RadiusOrbit combined with new functionality such as seamless drill-down enquiries, automatic punch-out facilities to supplier/marketplace web sites and automatic invoice matching.

The Radius Financials Purchasing Module handles all forms of purchasing from traditional purchase ordering through to purchase cards, e-mail, web based and auto-fax ordering. This provides authorities with one single solution for all purchase ordering methods. The authority can select the most appropriate purchasing method for each supplier and change this as the supplier relationship moves from traditional through to full e-procurement.

Funds availability checking, approval limits and commitment accounting are tightly integrated, with full drill-down facilities between the Purchasing Module and the other modules.

The new Purchasing Module retains all the powerful integration and interfacing facilities of RadiusOrbit. This enables us to provide class-leading e-procurement functionality to our traditional Powersolve, SPS, PALS and PASS Financials user base and also to users of Financial Management solutions from other suppliers.

Existing RadiusOrbit users will be automatically upgraded to this new module at the next release.
