Borough of Pendle decides to go with Radius Financials

The Borough of Pendle is a District authority based on the towns of Nelson and Colne in North East Lancashire. The town has, on a clear day, spectacular views of Pendle Hill, famous for its legendary witches. Pendle Council is forward thinking and committed to the use of technology for automating many administrative processes and delivering high-class services to its citizens.

The Council has chosen Radius Financials because of its high levels of functionality and its advanced use of the latest Microsoft technology, which provides the clear potential to improve financial services and management within the Council. The new facilities will also help significantly in improving the Council's procurement arrangements; this links into current discussions with other East Lancashire authorities regarding the setting up of a purchasing consortium to share resources and suppliers. Economies of scale will help to further reduce costs.

Radius will work in close partnership with Pendle to deliver a fully operational financial management information system to be live in early October 2003.
