West Lancashire DC selects Radius Financials in open tender

West Lancashire District Council, based in Ormskirk, has all of this and there really is something for everyone.

From emptying bins to checking on air pollution; providing sheltered homes for elderly people and sports centres where the kids can have fun . . . West Lancashire District Council provides services that touch the lives of everyone who lives and works in the district.

The Council has a positive commitment to further improve the quality of services offered to its citizens and is also seeking new and innovative uses of technology to reduce costs. After an extensive evaluation process, lasting almost six months, the Council has selected Radius to supply a fully integrated solution for financial management, income management and e-procurement. Implementation of the Radius solution will be a major factor in helping the Council achieve its e-government targets, together with extending a greater choice of payment methods to its customers.

Radius will work in close partnership with West Lancashire to deliver a fully operational financial management information system together with cash receipting and e-payments to be live before the end of 2003.
